After reporting to Feiyan, having a chat with HR and re-registering her information, Lydia met Lucia, who had sat next to her during the interview. She smiled sweetly at Lydia. “Lydia, you were indeed selected. Your acting skills were amazing that day.”
Her words were mixed with body movements and dancing. In the end, she even gave a thumbs up and winked at Lydia.
Lydia asked, “Did you also enter Feiyan?”
“Yes, thanks to your kind words.” After that, she quietly pulled Lydia to the side and whispered, “Where did you go with Mr. Marcel that day?”
Lydia did not hide it. “I went to interview for ‘A Big Family’.”
“Wow, you’re really lucky. You got into such a good film the moment you arrived here. I’m going to tell my agent that I have to act in ‘A Big Family’, even if it’s just for a single scene.”
While speaking, Lucia pointed at a woman who was walking over from afar. “That’s my agent.”
Lydia looked up. This agent was wearing a suit and black-rimmed glasses. It was obvious that she was not to be trifled with. She walked over arrogantly and glanced at Lydia. “You’re Lydia, right? Come with me.”
After saying that, she walked into the office by herself.
Lucia pouted and blinked her big eyes. “It seems that she’s the agent for all of us newbies. To be honest, she seems a little fierce.”
Lydia said, “I’ll go in first.”
She turned around and looked at the name tag on the door of the office by the side. The name of the agent was written on it, Dani. After entering, Lydia greeted her politely. Dani coldly adjusted her glasses and expressionlessly explained to Lydia about Feiyan, then, she handed a contract to Lydia. “Take a look through this contract. If there are no problems, sign it. If there are any problems, look for me.”
After saying that, Dani started starring at Lydia. Lydia picked up the contract and looked through at it. Dani kept staring at her, making Lydia feel very uncomfortable.
However, Lydia still tried her best to carefully read through the contract. Out of trust in a large company like Feiyan, Lydia did not question any point or read through it again. She quickly signed it.
Dani kept the contract and finally smiled. “From now on, I will be your agent. You are now a member of Feiyan. Let’s look after each other.”
She looked at the time and said, “I have to go off first. You can look around the company. I will give you a copy after the contract is sealed. Wait for my call regarding what you have to do next.”
Lydia felt that something was not right. This Dani was being too perfunctory. However, as she was a newcomer, Lydia chose to abide by her rules first.
The next day, Lydia received a copy of the contract. Dani then called her to go to Old Street. When Lydia arrived there, she asked again for the exact location she had to report to. Dani said over the phone, “Do you see a plastic surgery hospital next to you? Courier Plastic Surgery.”
Lydia looked around. When she found the place, she nodded. “I see it.”
“I’ve already spoken to the doctor beforehand. Go in and look for the front desk. Just tell them your name.”
Lydia was confused. “Are you in the hospital?”
“It doesn’t matter if I’m there or not. Don’t worry about this doctor not being reliable. He’s definitely trustworthy.”
“What do you mean?” Lydia could tell that something was wrong.
“You’ll know when you go in.”
Lydia looked at the two big words ‘Plastic Surgery’ and took a guess. “Do you plan to let me have plastic surgery?”
“Just some minor adjustments. Your eyes, nose, and mouth all need to be adjusted. I’ve already explained the specific requirements to the doctor. Don’t worry. After the adjustment, your future will be assured. Oh right, also, the company will pay for all the procedures. You won’t have to pay a single cent.”
Lydia was furious. The scorching temperature of the sun made her feel even hotter. “Miss Dani, shouldn’t you have a proper discussion with me before deciding on this? Isn’t it against company protocol to let me come directly to the plastic surgery hospital?”
