Chapter 28: School is Over

The setting sun, with its warm glow, shone into the spacious and tidy classroom, and my first day of school was over when the teacher said, “That’s all for today.”.

Before I reached the gate, I heard someone calling my name from behind. I rolled my eyes in my heart. That voice sounded like that of Kris. I really didn’t want to talk to her. I pretended that I didn’t hear anything and continued walking forward.

I didn’t expect her to run over quickly and block my path. Behind her were two of her followers.

“Kris, what do you want?” I had no choice but to stop and ask impatiently.

“Nothing much. Sheila, you bullied me and made me unable to take my nap today. Did you think that this matter would be over just like that? That would be too easy for you,” Kris said angrily.

After hearing this, a mocking smile appeared on my face. “This little child is so arrogant and unruly! She says that it’s black when it’s white, ignoring the truth. Since that’s the case, why should I waste my breath on her?”.

I didn’t even bother to say a word to her. I turned my body and wanted to go around her.

I didn’t expect Kris to grab my schoolbag. I frowned slightly, and my gaze instantly became fierce. The aura around me was imposing without me being angry. It looked extremely terrifying.

After all, I was still a child and had been pampered since I was young. I had never experienced such a thing before. Kris couldn’t help but let go of my hand after being frightened by me.
